Founded in Rwanda, BAG4 CL is a construction and excavation solutions company dedicated to improving access to reliable heavy machinery and professional earthwork services. Our mission is to simplify the way construction projects access the equipment and expertise they need, by connecting businesses, contractors, and equipment owners through a trusted platform.
Our core service is excavation, where we provide complete machinery solutions for construction sites, land development, road works, and other infrastructure projects. Unlike traditional equipment rental models, BAG4 CL takes responsibility for the machinery costs, fuel, and transportation of equipment to and from the project location. Clients are charged based on the actual cubic meters excavated, with measurements verified by surveyors from both sides to ensure transparency, accuracy, and trust throughout the project.
Beyond excavation services, BAG4 CL provides a digital marketplace where customers can access different types of construction equipment including excavators, loaders, tractors, and other heavy machinery. Equipment owners can list their machines, while businesses and contractors can easily find suitable equipment for their projects.
We also support the buying and selling of construction machinery, creating a reliable environment where individuals and companies can acquire or sell equipment while benefiting from a specialized construction-focused platform built for the Rwandan market.

Why BAG4 CL Exists
Built from real challenges faced in Rwanda’s construction sector, BAG4 CL was created to make excavation services, heavy equipment, and machinery solutions more accessible, transparent, and reliable.
The Problem
Construction and infrastructure projects often face challenges when accessing heavy machinery. Equipment ownership requires a significant investment, while many machines remain unused for long periods. Small contractors and businesses may need excavators, loaders, and other equipment but cannot always afford to purchase their own machinery.
Traditional rental processes can also create difficulties with transportation, fuel management, and ensuring that the right equipment is available at the right location and time.
Our Solution
BAG4 CL provides a complete machinery solution by connecting customers with reliable equipment while also offering professional excavation services. For excavation projects, we manage machinery, fuel, and transportation, allowing clients to focus on their construction goals.
Our excavation model is based on measured work output, where clients are charged according to cubic meters excavated. The excavation volume is verified by surveyors from both parties to maintain accuracy and transparency.

The Idea of BAG4 CL Was Born
We identified a major gap in Rwanda’s construction industry — excavation work was expensive, inconsistent, and equipment access was limited. Contractors struggled with machinery availability, transport, and operational costs.
Excavation & Machinery Solution Concept
We defined BAG4 CL as more than a marketplace — a complete excavation service provider where machinery, fuel, and transportation are managed by us, and clients are charged per cubic meter of excavation work.
Platform Development Begins
We started building the digital platform to connect clients with excavation services, equipment rental options, and machinery owners across Rwanda.
Core System Implementation & Testing
We implemented booking systems, excavation tracking logic, pricing models based on cubic meters, and equipment management dashboards for owners and operators.
